A big thank you to The Big Issue for choosing a 2014 story, Best on Ground, as first cab off the rank in its 30th anniversary series of extracts from and updates of ‘fave stories from the the past three decades’.

Quite an honour, to think the 1200 word story has stood the test of time. Much more importantly, it’s another chance for some publicity for the Football Integration Development Association, an all-abilities football league.
