About two months ago a Williamstown mate who used to live in Ouyen mentioned that a former neighbour played footy for Collingwood, Richmond and Williamstown.

One thing led to another – an approach to an editor here and there – and on June 9 the sports pages of The Sunday Age ran a piece called What, Knott a Magpie?
