Willy Lit Fest looming

The Williamstown Literary Festival turns 20 this year. I’ve been lucky to be part of it in one way or another for most of those years: in the audience, chairing a panel, directing and MC-ing a show.

The 2023 festival is effectively already under way, with a number of lead-up events in nearby Footscray and Altona.

Friday 16 June sees the Stereo Stories concert making its eighth appearance, since debuting at Williamstown in 2014. Details here.

Saturday 17 June is rich with possibilities and Sunday 18 June kicks off with The Swimming Salon. I’ll be one of four guest writers at the local lifesaving club narrating stories and poems about the sea, and then going for a quick winter dip. Details here.

And here’s the full weekend program. See you there!
